Radios sent for repair

PACKING YOUR RADIO FOR REPAIR

When a radio is received  I will always contact you to confirm safe delivery, though the number of times I will receive a repair without any paper work assuming I will know who has sent it.

Ensure your radio is well packed and a box suitable for its size and handling is provided, unless requested or I feel its unwise to do so , it will be returned with the same box and packing . Remember Couriers will not hold the same value to your treasured item as you will and these boxes can and will be thrown around at times. Even with fragile stickers on means nothing to them.

I will  advise as to your packing but remember this takes time and money and I would have to charge £20 to replace and pack it for you correctly.

Insurance: I can arrange insurance with the courier , but this causes many problems if a claim is made, first all insurance companys will do everything they can not to pay up, this can take many weeks or months and as I have paid it on your behalf i,m technicaly 3rd party and as the law is at present if the insurance company failes to honor your claim you can sue me for it. So I will only accept to add insurance to your return postage on the understanding that i cannot be held responsible if there is a issue and a claim is required and the insurance company failes to either pay or reduces the value of the claim.. Again to minimising issues box it well , a banana box is perfect for this .
